Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-10-10

These terms govern use of the Creator Portal at portal.trendseoul.kr (the "Portal"), operated by TREND SEOUL ("the Company"). By signing in to the Portal you agree to them.

1. What the Portal is

The Portal is a working tool through which the Company and creators run advertising and promotional content campaigns together. Creators use it to register, review campaign offers, apply, agree shooting dates, submit drafts and final content, and request payment. Registering on the Portal does not by itself create any contract. The terms of each campaign — fee, deliverables, schedule, usage scope — are presented separately on that campaign’s screen and take effect only when the creator agrees to them.

2. Your account

· You sign in with a Google account. The account is for your use only; you may not lend or transfer it. · If the information you register is untrue, your participation may be cancelled. Visa status and whether you hold a Korean bank account matter especially, because they determine how you are paid and how tax is withheld. · If your details change, please update them under "My page".

3. How a campaign runs

STEP 1 · Before the shoot — agree the terms → read the guide and complete the application → confirm the shooting date → pre-shoot checklist STEP 2 · Draft — shoot, edit and submit a draft → we review it STEP 3 · Upload — publish on your own channel and submit the link (with the upload checklist) → final review STEP 4 · Payment — request payment once the final review is passed Each step opens only when the previous one is complete. If a submission does not meet the campaign guide we may return it with reasons, and you resubmit after making the changes.

4. Your obligations

· Disclosure — Content made for consideration must clearly disclose that it is a paid advertisement, in line with Korea’s Guidelines on Review of Labelling and Advertising for Endorsements. Use both the platform’s paid-partnership feature and an in-caption disclosure. · Keeping it up — Do not delete or unlist the content for six months from publication. This period may differ by campaign; where a different period applies, we tell you before you take part. Tell us in advance if something makes this impossible. · Rights clearance — You are responsible for holding the rights to the music, fonts, footage and images used in the content. If another person appears in it, you must have their consent. · Confidentiality — Do not disclose unpublished campaign details, product information or guide content to anyone else. · Prohibited — Artificially inflating views, likes or followers; false or exaggerated claims; and using someone else’s content are prohibited.

5. Fees and payment

· The fee is the amount stated in the campaign offer. You may request payment once the final review is passed. · Payment is made only to a bank account in Korea. · The amount paid is the fee less any withholding tax required by law. Whether tax is withheld and at what rate depends on your nationality and visa status; this is shown to you on the payment screen beforehand. · We can only pay once you have submitted the required documents (bankbook copy, ID copy, and the activity permit where applicable). · Payment is made within 30 days of the end of the month in which your request and documents were verified.

6. Use of the content

· You keep the copyright in the campaign content. · You grant the Company and the relevant advertiser the right to use, reproduce, display and adapt the content within the scope and for the period set by the campaign. The specific scope — media, duration, whether it may be run as paid media — differs per campaign and is presented before you take part. · Any use beyond that scope is agreed separately, with separate consideration.

7. Restrictions

We may suspend your participation or restrict your use of the Portal where: · Registered information turns out to be untrue · The advertising disclosure obligation is not met · Nothing progresses within the agreed period and you cannot be reached · You do any of the prohibited acts in section 4 We tell you the reason and give you a chance to respond before restricting your account, except in urgent cases where we may restrict first and notify afterwards.

8. Liability

· We are not liable for failure to provide the Portal due to causes beyond our control, such as natural disasters or network failures. · If a dispute with a third party arises because you used material you had not cleared, or did not meet the disclosure obligation, that responsibility is yours. · Absent wilful misconduct or gross negligence on our part, our liability does not exceed the fee for the campaign concerned.

9. Changes to these terms

We post changes on the Portal at least 7 days before they take effect, and 30 days in advance where a change disadvantages creators. If you do not agree to a change you may stop using the Portal and close your account.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. We will try to resolve any dispute by discussion first; failing that, it goes to the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
